with Homoeopathic Preparations

What
is it?
The nasal and sinus
mucous membranes are able to absorb homoeopathic preparations very rapidly and
completely if the solution doesn’t run directly down the throat. Remedies
absorbed in this way work almost as rapidly as an intravenous injection because they are
taken directly into the system without having to compete with the stomach
acids and other gastric secretions.
This nasal therapy,
understandably, is most suitable for all upper respiratory disorders such as
sinusitis, hay fever, rhinitis, colds and flu as well as being excellent for
many other problems through the reflex connection of the sinuses, via the
acupuncture meridian pathways, with various other organs of the body such as
the stomach, large intestine, liver, gallbladder and uro-genital tract.
How
is it applied?
The client lies on
his/her back with head tilted enough so that the nostrils are almost parallel
to the ceiling. An individually selected preparation of homoeopathic solutions
is then slowly dripped into each nostril. This is followed by the head being
gently rocked from side to side to distribute the preparation through the
sinuses plus a gentle massage of the sinus areas around the nose, cheekbones,
eyes and forehead further helps the absorption of these remedies.
This procedure is
repeated a number of times to maximise absorption before the client is
assisted to sit up once again.
